With a focus on inclusivity, these are LGBTQIA+ friendly antenatal classes, where there is no "one right way" to build a whānau and be a parent.

We cover all options for labour and birthing, pain relief, assisted and surgical births. We also discuss all options for feeding babies, as well as a full session on parents' wellbeing after baby, and a comprehensive session on sleep and caring for babies.

About Us

Imperfect Parents offers inclusive, supportive spaces for all parents - no matter your whānau structure, number of children, or gender identity.

From evidence-based antenatal courses taught by a qualified educators, to parent support groups and playgroups, we’re here for your parenting journey.

Our groups foster real connection, with space to share openly about both the challenges and joys of parenting. Morning groups are like a facilitated coffee group, evening groups offer unique spaces for non-primary parents, and our playgroups welcome children of all ages.

Koha options and payment plans are available - no questions asked - to keep our spaces accessible for everyone.

"I really appreciated having a regular space to come to each week where I was guaranteed support. I loved how the questions each week made me reflect on aspects of parenting/life I might not have otherwise thought about. I truly look forward to our group days!"
